フレグランスブランド「ル ラボ（Le Labo）」が、ブランド誕生20周年を記念して発売した書籍「ル ラボ ザ エッセンス オブ スロー パフューマリー（Le Labo: The Essence of Slow Perfumery）」（デボラ?ロイヤー著、1万4520円）に着想を得た展覧会を、4月17日から5月17日まで京都市のル ラボ京都町家で開催する。本展はKYOTOGRAPHIE 京都国際写真祭のサテライトプログラムとして、実験的な企画や新たな表現を紹介する枠組み「KG +」の一環。

展覧会のベースとなる同書は、エッセイや写真、対話を通して、香りを手仕事や時間、感覚の観点から再解釈する内容で構成される。
会場は築約150年の町屋を改装したル ラボ京都町家の2階。書籍に収録されたテキストやヴィジュアルをもとに、ブランドの思想や制作背景を紹介する。
